Think About Others

It is impossible to be selfish and be an effective leader. Treat your peers and team mates right. You should genuinely care about them.

Confidence not Arrogance

Attitude will always influence everything you do. When you have a positive attitude, a sound work ethic, and are prepared you build confidence. It is import to be confident in your abilities without being arrogant.

Set the Bar

Always be on time, always work hard, and always put your heart and soul into every practice, workout and game. A good leader will motivate others to do so too.

Learn to Shake it Off

This means to not dwell on mistakes or get upset at making an error. It's best to forget what happened as soon as possible and move on. Mistakes are okay and will happen at every level of play. Always learn from your mistakes.

Love the Game

The best kept secret of successful leaders is having a passion for what you’re doing. Leading the team and having a genuine passion for the game help others learn how to use their skills and talents and learn from their experiences.
